Change-over day is flexible and can be negotiated with the owner. Please e-mail the owners to reserve the villa at bookings@villadoc.co.uk Once the availability has been checked, the owner will e-mail back the address to which the deposit should be sent. 40% of clients from last year have rebooked again this year.
Bookings are subject to receipt of 25 % of the full cost and a confirmatory e-mail from the owners.The balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Please send a cheque made out in £’s sterling to the owner’s address or request bank details for a BACS transfer. A contract will be in force once the deposit has been banked. We reserve the right to refuse a booking. Late payment will result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit paid.
Please complete the booking forms, including food pack requirements, at least 3 weeks before departure and send to the owner as an e-mail attachment, or by post or fax. This will then be forwarded to Parque da Floresta by the owner. Car hire can be arranged personally using the links on this site.
Clients are responsible for their own electricity and food packs. Please settle up the account at the Reception when you arrive (please note that heating the pool and Jacuzzi can be expensive in cooler weather). The maids will visit twice during the week and then clean on departure. This service is included in the rental cost.
There may be some building works in progress as the last few villas on the resort are being completed. Tthis should have little impact on your holiday as they are up the hill behind this villa.
Cancellations
- 0 -14 days before departure – 100 % payable
- 15 – 28 days before departure – 75 % payable
- 29 – 42 days before departure – 50 % payable
- 43 days onwards – loss of deposit i.e 25 %
Please notify the owners of the cancellation in writing and enclose the appropriate cheque for any balance due.
Terms.
The Villa is insured for 3rd party liability but the tenants are expected to take out full holiday insurance including medical cover. There will be information in the villa about the local medical services.
Liabilities
The owners cannot accept any liability for circumstances arising out of their control, amounting to ‘force majeure’. This includes war or threat of war, industrial action, terrorist activities, riot, civil war, avian flu (or the threat of such), weather, earthquake, failure of electric, gas or water supply, noise, etc.
The owners will not be responsible for any accident that occurs on the property. This villa is on 3 levels and there are numerous steps and ornamental walls. There is a swimming pool and Jacuzzi so it is the tenant's responsibility to care for children at all times.
Breakage Deposit
You will be required to leave a breakage deposit of 250 euros at the Reception on arrival – this can be paid by credit card and will be fully refunded once the villa has been checked after your departure. Please inform the office of any breakage or malfunction so that this can be rectified by the maintenance team as soon as possible.
